A big thank you to all of you who supported our memorial football match to raise money for the football club and St Barnabas Hospice.
With your support, the hard work of the football club committee, Lawrence Pearce of Bell Leisure, programme sponsors and kind donations, we raised a massive £3,800.00.
The bar takings on the night hit an all time record since it opened in April 2003 of which Malcolm would have been proud.
A massive Thank You to the following people who made this all possible:
The McMichael family.
David Mathers and his family for sponsoring the programme and helped organise the night.
Nigel Dyer for the countless texts and phone calls to past players.
Keith Dalmon, Derek Dyer, Martin, Sandra and Brad Collins for their hours of hard work, all donated to the cause.
Ian and Dave Bridle for cooking hot dogs and burgers all night.
Lloyd Rendall who donated his time to referee the game.
Jez Scoles and his band of linesmen.
Lawrence Pearce and Bob Paine who were thrust back into management for the night.
Last but not least, all the past players, some who turned out from far and wide like Dave Westwood who came down to play from Manchester and Gavin Bridle who came all the way from Spain.
